How Properties In Abuja Were Built With Stolen Funds
THE President of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV), Bolarinwa Patunola-Ajayi, has made a damming revelations saying that most of unoccupied buildings in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) were proceeds of corruption.
Mr Patunola-Ajayi however, called on the federal government to be serious about introducing property tax to address housing problem in the country.
Commenting on how housing would become affordable to most Nigerians, he called on governments at all levels to invest more in social housing with a view to reducing.
The NIESV Boss made this known while speaking to property correspondents during the maiden meeting of his council members in Abuja.
