The spokesman of the Sokoto state police
command, El-Mustapha Sani, has disclosed that
Moin Amsuri, a Lebanese who spent 30 years of
his life teaching mathematics in different schools
in Sokoto state, has been murdered by unknown
gunmen on Thursday.
Sani said armed robbers could likely be behind
the tragic incident, disclosing that investigation
was ongoing.
“The deceased was suspected to have been
killed by gunmen who are right now at large. The
incident was said to have occurred on Thursday
at his residence in Yauri flats, Sokoto, and it was
reported to the Gwiwa Police Station on the
same day. We are suspecting that the assailants
were armed robbers as his Toyota car is still
missing.”
The spokesman said the command would not
relent until the perpetrators of the nefarious act
were fished out and brought to justice.
The deceased who last taught at the prestigious
Nagarta College, was buried in Sokoto on Friday.
Bashir Garba, secretary to the state government,
and Ahmed Aliyu, deputy governor, were among
the dignitaries who attended his funeral.
Other highly placed Nigerians such as former
President Shehu Shagari and Ahamadu Bello,
premier of the then Northern Nigeria were also
spotted at the fineral.

Unbelievable! Over 100 Muslims Attend Catholic Church To Worship With Christians [Photo]

It was a sight to behold as Muslims attended
Catholic mass in churches around France on
Sunday to show solidarity and sorrow after the
brutal jihadist murder of a priest.
AFP reports that more than 100 Muslims were
among the 2,000 faithful who packed the 11th-
century Gothic cathedral of Rouen near the
Normandy town where two jihadi teenagers slit
the throat of 85-year-old Father Jacques Hamel.
“I thank you in the name of all Christians,”
Rouen Archbishop Dominique Lebrun told them.
“In this way you are affirming that you reject
death and violence in the name of God.”
The delegation was led by Nice’s top imam
Otaman Aissaoui in the southern city where a
jihadist carried out a rampage in a truck on
Bastille Day, claiming 84 lives and injuring 435
including many Muslims.
“Being united is a response to the act of horror
and barbarism,” he said.
It was also the same thing at the Notre Dame
church in southwestern Bordeaux were a Muslim
delegation, led by the city’s top imam Tareq
Oubrou attended the mass.
“It’s an occasion to show (Muslims) that we do
not confuse Islam with Islamism, Muslim with
jihadist,” said Reverend Jean Rouet.
The Muslims were responding to a call by the
French Muslim council CFCM to show their
“solidarity and compassion” over the priest’s
murder on Tuesday.
Said a woman wearing a beige headscarf who
sat in a back pew at a church in central Paris:
“I’m a practising Muslim and I came to share my
sorrow and tell you that we are brothers and
sisters.”
Giving her name only as Sadia, she added softly:
“What happened is beyond comprehension.”
AFP further reported that the most poignant
moment of Sunday’s mass in Rouen was the sign
of peace, a regular part of the liturgy when the
faithful turn to greet each other in the pews,
either shaking hands or kissing.
Archbishop Lebrun used the moment to step into
the congregation and greet Muslim leaders
attending, as well as three nuns who were at the
church in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray when Hamel
was murdered.
Outside the Rouen cathedral a few policemen
and soldiers stood guard but did not conduct
searches, seeking to reassure a jittery population
after the second jihadist attack in less than a
fortnight.
Both of the 19-year-olds attackers, Adel
Kermiche and Abdel Malik Petitjean, had been on
intelligence services’ radar and had tried to go
to Syria.

Budget Scandal: Jibrin Spills More Beans, Releases Photos Of Dogara's Guest Houses In Abuja

The in-fighting in the House of Representatives between Abdulmumnim Jubrin and Speaker Yakubu Dogara seems to be getting messier by the day as the embattled Abdulmumin Jibrin, on Sunday, released what he said were pictures of one of Speaker Yakubu Dogara's guest houses

According to an exclusive report by Premium
Times , the sacked former chairman of the Federal
House of Representative Committee on
Appropriation, Abdulmumin Jibrin, on Sunday,
released what he said were pictures of one of
Speaker Yakubu Dogara’s guest houses, as the
budget padding scandal rocking Nigeria’s House
of Representatives worsens.

Hon. Jibrin who sent the pictures to the
publication on Saturday night, said they depicted
Dogara’s guest house located at Vistula Close,
along Panama Crescent, in the exquisite Maitama
neighbourhood in Abuja.
Jibrin had repeatedly said in his allegations that
Dogara allegedly looted funds meant for
legislative duties to furnish his guest houses and
other apartments being personally used by him.

The charges were part of the similar ones Jibrin
had come up with in recent days, following his
ouster from the Appropriation Committee’s
leadership on allegations that he betrayed the
House leadership and other members.
Jibrin denied all the allegations, saying it was
Dogara who had been sitting over massive
misappropriation of public funds as Speaker.
“Mr. Speaker and Deputy Speaker Yusuf Lasun
diverted millions of naira all in the name of
paying for guest houses and official residence.
The issue became so messy that the Deputy
Speaker openly accused Hon Herma Hembe of
short changing them of millions of naira in the
deal to the shock of many honourable
members,” Jibrin said in a July 25 statement.
Dogara and others named in the alleged fraud
denied the allegations.
Jibrin’s whistleblowing had seen the public
inundated with House internal documents about
how funds were allegedly allocated to lawmakers
for ‘constituency’ projects, triggering sweeping
investigation into the scandal.

How A Lagos Banker Allegedly Killed Himself For Failing To Recover A Loan He Approved

According to an exclusive report on New
Telegraph, Olisa Nwakoby, a manager at a
second generation bank, First City Monument
Bank (FCMB) Plc, on Friday evening, shot
himself dead in the presence of his Priest at the
Lekki area of Lagos Island, Lagos State.
Close sources to the family of the deceased
disclosed at the weekend that the late Olisa who
is the father of a 10-year-old daughter, was said
to have taken his own life because of an
incriminating huge loan transaction he approved
in his bank.
Olisa was the approving officer for the loan which
the beneficiary is no longer servicing and the
bank was on the neck of Olisa to get the money
back.
The deceased's late father, Chief Patrick
Oguejiofor Nwakoby was a former chairman of
First Bank of Niger Plc, a successfully lawyer,
politician and a highly respected community
leader before his death.
Reports reveal that the vibrant banker's fear over
his integrity and the name of his family, which
could be dented if his bank commences action
against him over the loan, was too much to bear,
prompting him to shoot himself.
A source who disclosed to the publication, did
not say if there was suspicion of any foul play in
the death of the banker, she also could not
confirm the actual amount involved in the
transaction, but she simply said “it was huge.”
The case is being handled by homicide
detectives attached to Area J Command, Lekki/
Ajah. According to a police source.
The banks, on the fateful day he killed himself,
went to meet his pastor. He told the pastor to
tell his wife to take good care of his children,
that what he would do in next few minutes
would shock everyone. He was said to have later
blown his brains out.
The source continued, “It was later discovered
that he took money from the bank, N350million,
and the money started creating problems for him.
He killed himself.”

Arsene Wenger Says It's Crazy Signing One Player For £100m, Gives Alternatives

Paul Pogba

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger feels the €120
million transfer fee Manchester United are
believed to be willing to pay for Juventus
midfielder Paul Pogba is "absolutely crazy", but
has admitted the Old Trafford sides revenues
might justify it.
The France international is widely expected to
set a new world transfer record, beating the
€100m Real Madrid paid to sign Gareth Bale from
Tottenham, by swapping Turin for Manchester.
Wenger thinks fees might approach the €200m
mark in the not too distant future if the current
developments continue.
"The Pogba transfer fee? It is completely crazy if
you cannot afford to pay it. If you can afford to
pay it you can justify it. But it is completely
crazy if you compare it to normal life. That is for
sure," Wenger was quoted as saying by The Daily
Mail.
"But we live in a world where every activity that
is worldwide makes a lot of money. Football has
become a worldwide competition and that is why
clubs can afford to do it.
"Does it make sense in the way the player can
give you that investment back? Nobody ever
could calculate.
"Since I am in this sport I always thought the
record cannot go higher and I was always
wrong. Maybe in a few years it will be 200, 300,
who knows..."

HOW! Ex Italy Coach, Sachi Gives Reasons Why Messi Is Not In Maradona's Level

Messi and Maradona

Former AC Milan and Italy coach Arrigo Sacchi
feels Diego Maradona was a better player than
Lionel Messi and believes the Barcelona star
does not have the same strong personality his
compatriot had.

Messi is widely regarded as one of the best
players in the history of the game and a has won
a plethora of medals with Barcelona, while
collecting the prestigious Ballon d'Or award on
five occasions.

However, Sacchi believes Maradona has the edge
as he proved his talent in LaLiga and Serie A
with Barcelona and Napoli respectively.
"Messi is the best player in the world right now,
but he lacks Maradona's personality. Maradona
could play anywhere. Diego made the difference
in Spain and Italy," Sacchi told La Nacion.

"Maradona and Alfredo Di Stefano are
Argentina's two greatest players ever. Playing
against Maradona was the worst thing that could
happen to you. I have never seen anyone like
him. He could create something from out of
nowhere.
"We once played against him with Milan and
totally dominated. Then Diego got the ball, shook
off two players and set up Careca, who scored
the 1-0 for them. I have never seen someone
who was so decisive."
One of the criticisms levelled at Messi is his
failure to match his supreme domestic record on
the international stage with Argentina, while
Maradona spearheaded the nation's World Cup
victory in 1986.
But Sacchi says that is an unfair comparison.
"A team has a certain potential and not even
Messi can unlock that on his own. Argentina are
missing a clear game plan. You can never rely
on just one player," Sacchi added.
"I once told Silvio Berlusconi that not even the
greatest actors could save a movie without a
great script, not even Robert De Niro, Jack
Nicholson or George Clooney.
"Football is the same. You need 11 players who
are hugely motivated and want to play for the
team. And a coach with a clear philosophy.
Argentina are always among the favourites, but
maybe they need more cohesion and team-
spirit."

How Fake Pastor Who Used False Prophecy to Lure & Rob Victims in Imo State Was Arrested

A 45-year-old pastor-in-charge of Watered
Ground Ministry, Delight Arinze Okorie, who
claimed to have been in pastoral ministry for 10
years and was on the run for sometime now,
have been finally arrested and is cooling his
heels in the custody of the Imo State Police Com
mand, Owerri.
“I have been in pastoral ministry for over 10
years. When some of my members or the friends
they bring, come to tell me about their problems,
I always give them fake prophecies. If I discover
that they have money, I use the opportunity to
rob them by setting them up with the fake
prophecies,” he told a Sunday Sun reporter in
Owerri.
In an interview with the Imo State Commissioner
of Police, Taiwo Lakanu, said the suspect
deployed strategies in deceiving, robbing and
attempting to murder one member of the church,
35-year-old Mrs. Chioma Oleka at Atta in
Ihennasa, Njaba Local Government Area, Imo
State, by falsely claiming that she was
possessed with a mermaid (marine) spirit.
The Police boss further revealed that on May 25,
2016, Okorie lured Oleka to Nwangele river,
where she was to ostensibly undergo special
deliverance prayer. The lady drove her Lexus
SUV with a Rivers State registration number,
KPR 243HF to keep the appointment for prayers
and deliverance.
Okorie the pastor suspect revealed what followed
thereafter:
“As we were praying on the bridge, I went to the
back of the vehicle and picked up a machete. I
gave her several cuts all over her body with the
intention to kill her. Then I pushed her from the
top of the bridge into the river for her to drown.
Some members of my gang, who pretend to be
members of my church, who went with me then
escaped with the SUV, when we sighted a police
patrol team.”
Unfortunately for Okorie and the gang, Oleka
miraculously survived the vicious attack and fall
into the river as she did not drown. Rather she
pretended to have died.
Recalling her fortuitous survival of the
horrendous experience she passed through,
Oleka said:
“Before this thing happened I had been attending
Watered Ground Ministry, the church headed by
Pastor Okorie. He always prophesied in the
church and one day he said that I had a mer
maid (marine or mammywater) spirit. He said I
had to go for special deliverance prayer not
knowing that he wanted to rob and murder me.
During the prayer session, he suddenly pushed
me from the top of the bridge into the river. He
gave me machete cuts thinking that I would die.
But a police patrol team rescued me, took me to
the hospital. I think I have learnt my lesson, that
there are many false pastors all over the place;
we need God’s intervention.”
After their successful escape from the crime
scene, Okorie and his gang members continued
their operations for several months thinking that
the chapter had been closed on what they did to
Oleka.
However, providence was patiently waiting to
expose them. That day arrived when Oleka began
to recover from the attack while still in the
hospital. When she was strong enough to talk
with police detectives investigating the case, she
recounted what happened and gave the police
the registration number of the car.
For a while, the police kept Okorie under
surveillance and then moved in to arrest him.
During interrogation, he sang like a canary and
revealed his alleged past escapades in crime,
robbery, kidnapping and murder.
With information obtained from Okorie and the
other members of his gang, the police recovered
the Lexus SUV as well as the arms and
ammunition of the gang.

Big Thief: How A Lagos Woman Defrauded A Popular Bank Using Fake Shop As Collateral

Customers in a bank. Getty image.

A woman appeared to have simply disappeared
into thin air after she cleverly defrauded a
microfinance bank, located at the Ojo Alaba area
of Lagos State. The woman was said to have
fooled one of the bank’s workers into giving her
a loan by using a stranger’s restaurant as
collateral for the loan.

The worker of AB Microfinance Bank was hooked
winked by the woman into believing that the
restaurant, located at No. 91 Adaloko Road,
Arikawe Bus Stop, Afro Media, Ojo, Lagos State,
was actually hers. Accepting the woman’s words
of honour, the bank gave her the loan.

The scam was discovered after the bank worker
realised that the woman had not been servicing
her loan. The bank padlocked the restaurant,
expecting the woman to appear, instead, the
genuine, angry owner, Mr. Boniface
Uwanyemugwu, appeared. Uwanyemugwu
travelled to his village, in Imo State, when the
unknown woman used his restaurant as
collateral.

He returned from village, to discover that AB
Microfinance Bank had padlocked his restaurant.
It is believed that the woman knew that
Uwanyemugwu travelled to his village and
decided to use his restaurant to dupe the bank.
The bank’s worker, who handled the loan
transaction, has been identified as Mr. Adeniyi
Adeoye. Uwanyemugwu said that Adeoye and his
enforcement team have disrupted his business
and daily income, since they locked up his
restaurant.
Uwanyemugwu said he returned from his village
to find Adeoye’s business card, placed
conspicuously at the entrance of his restaurant.
The card reads: ‘Adeniyi Adeoye, AB
Microfinance bank, 22, Ojo Igbede Road, Alaba,
Lagos.
Uwanyemugwu said: “I returned from my village
to find my restaurant locked up. I thought it was
the handiwork of local government officials. I
looked at the complimentary card and
discovered it belonged to one Mr. Adeniyi
Adeoye, of AB Microfinance Bank. I had never
had any dealing with them.

"I called Adeoye’s phone number, to know what
the matter was. He said the owner of that shop
used it to obtain a loan from AB Microfinance
Bank. He then hung up. I called him again; he
said if I wanted to know more, I should come. At
first, I wanted to break the padlock, but I decided
to involve the police.”
Uwanyemugwu went to Okokomaiko Police
Station ,to lodge a complaint. The Divisional
Police Officer (DPO), in Charge of Okokomaiko
Police Station, sent some police officers to the
bank, with a letter of invitation.
Uwanyemugwu said: “They followed me to my
restaurant and saw that it was truly locked. We
went to the bank. Mr. Adeoye accepted he was
the one that placed his business card there.
"He told us that a woman, who owns the shop,
used it to obtain loan from the bank. Police gave
him a letter of invitation. He was supposed to go
to the station the following day.
But he didn’t honour the invitation. I went back
to the police and told the Divisional Crime Officer
(DCO), that I wanted to see the DPO. The DPO
again asked his men to take me to the bank. At
the bank, we met the manager. The manager
said he was not aware of the locking up of my
restaurant. The manager brought out the file that
had to do with the loan. They saw that it wasn’t
me that collected the loan.”
According to Uwanyemugwu, the manager
begged that the case should be settled amicably,
but the Investigating Police Officer (IPO), said the
matter wouldn’t be settled at the bank. The IPO
asked all parties to meet at the police station.
The bank again, allegedly refused to keep the
appointment. When the bank was called again,
the IPO was told that Adeoye had gone for a
course. The bank advised that everything should
be put on hold, pending the return of Adeoye.
Meanwhile, Uwanyemugwu’s restaurant,
continued to be unlocked. Uwanyemugwu, who
said the bank’s statement angered him, added: “I
have lost about N1.2 million over 30 days that
my restaurant had been locked, and time is still
running. I make an average of N30,000 daily
from the business. I have family and other
dependents. They look up to me for financial
assistance. How can I bear the burden of an
unknown debtor?"
Frustrated, Uwanyemugwu said he was forced to
petition the Area E Police Command, Festac,
begging the Area Commander, to carry out
proper investigation into the matter.
Uwanyemugwu said that he felt the bank was
not respecting the DPO and IPO of Okokomaiko
Police Station.
Uwanyemugwu said: “The Area E Commander
has directed that Adeoye be arrested. I will
follow the matter to its logical conclusion. I know
all I have spent, would be paid back. Whosoever
had done this, is not a ghost! The bankers failed
to carry out proper verification exercise. The
bank allowed itself to be deceived.
"The bank should look for the debtor to refund its
loan. I will sue for the loss I have incurred in the
course of this investigation.” When Adeoye was
contacted via phone, another employee of the
bank, who refused to identify himself, answered
on two occasions.
He said Adeoye was not available. He also noted
that the complainant had reported the matter to
the police station, while AB Microfinance Bank’s
manager, has begun internal investigations.
However, he told a correspondent to visit the
bank.
During the correspondent's visit to the bank, the
front desk employee, who refused to disclose her
name, denied him access to the bank manager.
She however admitted that, the bank was aware
of the case.

Jose Mourinho Gives Hints On His First Team, Mata And Fellaini To...

Jose Mourinho

Manchester United Manager, Jose Mourinho has insisted that all the
players in his Manchester United squad have anfuture at Old Trafford.
Mouronho and his boys romped to a 5-2 friendly victory over Galatasaray in
Gothenburg that included second-half goals from Juan Mata and Marouane Fellaini, both of whom have been strongly linked with imminent moves
away from the club.
But Mourinho was adamant that each and every player remains a part of his plans for the forthcoming campaign. "If they weren't in my plans," he said, "I wouldn't
give them one single minute. "The squad is very competitive.
"The other day I was telling them that we have 38 matches in the Premier League, we have the possibility of 15 matches in the Europa League, as well as the domestic cups.
"They are going to play 60 matches, so 60 matches can't be done with 11 players.
"So to be in this squad you have to realise the squad is more important than the individual. "The club is more is more important than all of
us, so to be in the squad you have to be ready for this. "Playing, not playing, play a lot, play less, play 90 minutes, play one minute, not being selected, everything is part of squad life." Zlatan Ibrahimovic was among United's other
goalscorers at the Ullevi Stadium, opening his account for the club with a spectacular 4th- minute scissor kick. United return to action in midweek for Wayne
Rooney's testimonial against Everton before facing Leicester City in the FA Community Shield on Sunday.

Arsene Wenger Says He Does Not Just Sign Player... Explains His Transfer Policy

Wenger

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has in the wake of criticisms trailing his transfer policy, defended the club's transfer policy, insisting he has no plansto buy for the sake of it. The Frenchman intends to sign a defender to replace the injured Per Mertesacker, but it has been another relatively quiet off-season for the Premier League giants.
Wenger said he would only make signings if required, with Granit Xhaka headlining his three additions this off-season."I buy players that I feel can strengthen our team.

Today you have to be very strong inside the club when you are responsible, not just to
buy [for the sake of it]," he said."There's always a wave of opinions. I must say
people are better informed today - they know all the players.
"They tell you always that you should buy but when you ask them who to buy, they become much shorter.
"If you look at the market in Europe, there's a lotof money available but not many players whoreally strengthen the teams. If you look at the teams that spend the most money in Europe, they're not necessarily the teams that won the championships.
"The global investment of the clubs around us didn't stop Leicester winning the championship."Wenger insisted Arsenal were "still on the marketfor players" and that he expected to sign a defender before the start of the season.
Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez and Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette have also been linked, but Wenger was unwilling to be drawn on the duo.
"The best way to conclude transfers is not to talkabout them, which is very difficult in the pressconference," he said.
"We are on the market but I don't want to talk specifically about any player because that makesit more difficult for me - and it's difficult enough."

LADIES ONLY: Don't Ignore Any Of These 7 Signs, He Could Be Cheating

He's acting ... differently, but you just can't put
your finger on why. Then, his cell phone rings in
the middle of the night and he doesn't have a
good explanation.
We've all heard the "he blames you for cheating"
and "his cell phone has a password on it"
behaviors of cheating men, but those are the
obvious shifts.
After interviewing 50 cheating men (and a
number of their wives/ex-wives), there are
several subtle changes that often take place that
women are usually unaware of until it's too late.

1. He strays from his predictable everyday
behavior.

"My wife knew I was cheating before there was
any real evidence. She said she should could
just tell."
After spending time with someone for a number
of months (or even years), you know their typical
behavior. You know how they act in certain
situations, and when they act differently you
want an explanation — if not cheating, then
something else real and tangible.
In this respondent's case, when he started his
affair, he would grab his phone and head into
the restroom for 20 to 30 minutes. His excuse:
He was "reading email and the news ." The only
problem was, his phone bill showed something
very different.

2.  He remembers things wrong or loses track of
the details.

"I was talking to my wife about a movie we saw
and laughing about one of the scenes. She
wasn't laughing. I asked, 'What? Don't you
remember?' She then informed me that we hadn't
seen it together."
As he spends more time with both you and his
mistress , the memories of his time spent with
her and the memories of his time spent with you
will start to blur together. Schedules get crossed
and he won't be able to keep track of where he
was on any given day. The time he spent with
another woman is entirely unaccounted for —
often, with no explanation.

3.  He suddenly needs a lot of privacy.

"I was working from home and I started closing
the door more often, saying that the kids were
loud or that I just needed to work quietly. I was
online chatting with my mistress ."
To take time for one's self is normal. But when
it's out of the normal pattern — or is more and
more frequent — it's a sign that something else
is going on . Going into work early, leaving late,
getting off the phone suddenly, and taking lots of
private calls from a "relative" (mom, sister,
someone untraceable) are also red flags.

4.  He has a drastic change in sexual appetite
and style.

"I started my affair and all I wanted was sex , but
not from my wife. She knew something was up,
because our sex life was always pretty active."
"After I started up with [my mistress], I started
sleeping with my wife much more often. She told
me I was really aggressive in bed and that she
hadn't seen me that way before."
A sudden shift in what's "regular" or familiar in
bed — without discussing wanting something
new — is a big warning sign of cheating. All the
men I interviewed expressed experiencing a huge
rush of testosterone, which manifested as a new
confidence during sex. They felt strong,
masculine, virile — like every woman wanted
them. Their egos were growing daily.

5. He hides his financial history from you.

"I was meeting her for lunch almost daily. And
our hotel visits were three or four times per
week. Covering that was very difficult. I opened a
PayPal account, got a PayPal debit card and
attached a personal checking account to my
PayPal account. I would make online transfers
into PayPal and she couldn't see any of my
transactions."
Most cheating men will need an untraceable way
to pay for things : gifts, meals, hotels, trips, etc.
Reloadable credit cards, PayPal accounts, and
eBay purchases are all great ways to hide large
or frequent transactions. Definitely investigate
large, random transfers or cash withdrawals.

6.  He has new "friends" at work and/or more
work responsibilities.

"My company allowed me to work from home if I
choose. But I'd started a relationship with a new
manager at the office, so I started going in to
work more often. When I extended my business
trips a day before or after, I actually needed at a
remote site, extended office lunches and late
hours."
Office affairs are very common, especially
considering how much time we spend working
together. He might mention his new "friend" to
dispel any suspicions you have and if you pop in
to the office unexpectedly, or he might even
introduce you to his "coworker" to throw you off
the scent. Follow your gut and pay attention to
his other behaviors.

7. He's secretive with his phones

"iMessages on the iPhone are untraceable on
cell phone bills. I would only text [my mistress]
when it was safe and then delete the messages
immediately. To this day my wife doesn't know
how I communicated with [my mistress]."
"I bought SnapChat on my cellphone to
communicate with her."
"I didn't want to send emails, which are
traceable. So, we established a new Gmail
account and communicated in the drafts folder,
without ever sending anything."
"We bought Gliph and were sending anonymous,
'cloaked' emails."
Technology is now smarter and affairs have gone
high-tech. A new password on his cell phone or
computer, a change of password at your bank or
cell phone company, or cell phones being "left in
the car" were once valid signs of infidelity .
But now, cheaters fly under the radar by using
technology to do their communication dirty
work. Apps exist that allow text messages,
online chat sessions and pictures to last for a
certain amount of time (and then disappear).
Pay attention to new email accounts and new
apps being used on his cell phone.
While these signs aren't foolproof signs of
cheating, a few taken in combination are sure
signs that something is up.
My advice: don't make accusations that you
can't back up. But, if you do suspect it, sit him
down for a long talk about your concerns. If that
nagging feeling doesn't disappear, you have
some choices to make — and perhaps some
investigations to start.

FOR GUYS ONLY: 7 Signs She Is Cheating On You

10-15% of children are being raised by
men who think they are the biological
fathers, but are not. In an age of birth
control, abortion and the fact that only a
small percentage of acts of unprotected
intercourse result in pregnancy, imagine
how big the percentage of women probably
is. You can’t trust any statistics, cause
only a few will admit this fact when they
are asked by a stranger. There are several
reasons, why women are cheating their
partner and I’m pretty sure that more than
50% are guilty of it. But how should you
know if your girlfriend is loyal? We explore
the most common signs that can help you
tell whether your woman is cheating on
you.

1. She Stops Caring

Women are wired to care about the
smallest details about their men and
relationships. She cares how many times
you call and whether you make time for
her. She gets angry with you when you
forget those important dates in your
relationship and will make a big fuss about
it. So when your lady stops caring that you
didn’t call and when she doesn’t throw a
fit that you forgot all your special dates,
then you have cause to worry.

2. Change In Appearance

When you were dating, your woman went
to great lengths to look amazing for you
and consistently made your heart stop. But
after dating for a while or after marriage it
seems that she doesn’t care so much like
before, which is normal. Has your woman
started again dressing a little more special
out of the blue? Does she suddenly seem
to pay extra attention to her appearance
while leaving to meet up her girls, more
than when going out with you? She may be
out to impress and catch the attentions of
another man.

3. Sexier Underwear

When a woman is involved with someone
new, she often will go out and purchase
sexier bras and panties – because she
feels sexier. There is a pleasure women get
in being appreciated as a sexual being and
will behave a little more sexier… maybe
she’s leaving an extra button undone on
her blouse or wearing her hair down
instead of neatly tied up. Maybe she has
changed her perfume (and that could go
either way, stronger to cover the scent of
his aftershave or lighter because he’s not
fond of heavy fragrances). She may also
change the way she wears make-up for
similar reasons.

4. She Just Won’t Commit!

Most women want a man who is willing to
commit to them for life. They will drop
hints if not directly ask their boyfriend
what his plans for their future are. So if
your woman is being dodgy whenever you
bring up the topic of the future of your
relationship, it may be a sign that she’s
cheating on you and has other options to
explore.

5. No Interest Intimacy

In a relationship the couple builds on
intimacy by having sex. If there is no more
interest or urge to have sex with you, it is
obvious there are chances of
unfaithfulness. These are signs that she
has already engaged in sex with her new
found love.

6. Super Busy

Can you pop by for a visit and maybe take
her out to lunch or dinner without making
a formal arrangement? Is she open and
welcoming to such a pleasant surprise
from her man? Or does she rush you out
and postpone your spontaneous gesture?
Now, don’t sell yourself short. Make sure
you test her on this when she should be
able to go out with you. Think hard, is her
schedule as open to you as it used to be?
You’ll know your woman is cheating if she
barely ever has time for you claiming a
busy schedule. A woman in love will move
aside a mountain just to spend time with
her man. But if she is constantly making
excuses why she can’t see you or dine
with you, then she is dining someone else.

7. She will start having secret schedules

The moment your spouse becomes
secretive in her schedules, it clearly shows
that there is something she is hiding. She
could hide here whereabouts and start
having a lot of business trips that care
unexplained. If you find yourself knowing
less about her itinerary, there is reason to
worry.

Femi Fani- Kayode Blows Hot, Explains How Nigeria Will Break-up Under Buhari

Fani-Kayode

ONE time Aviation Minister and  former aide to ex president Goodluck Jonathan, Femi Fani Kayode is at it again, this time enunciating how Nigeria would disintegrate under President Buhari's watch.
He made this disclosure in a message posted on his Facebook wall. It reads
"On 29th July 2016, CNN reported that the Nigerian government is preparing
troops for a crackdown in the Niger Deltaif peace talks fail". This is sad and
ominous. As United States Senator Ted Cruz once said "the light of truth is
stronger than the terror of darkness". It follows that the biggest mistake that the
Buhari administtation can possibly make is to attempt to "crack down" on the Niger
Delta and kill innocent civilians. If this ever happens, for whatever reason, it will
set off a chain of events that will lead to the end of Nigeria as we know it. Nigeria will disintegrate before Buhari's very eyes if any more innocent
blood is shed and if the towns, creeks and villages of the oil-producing states are shelled and reduced to rubble.
The cause of the people of the Niger Delta, and indeed that of the Igbo people of the eastern states, is just and their struggles and aspirations are legitimate and reasonable. Self- detetmination is a right. It is a concept and principle that is universally accepted and that has the backing of international law. You do not
threaten and bomb those that seek to exercise that right: you treat them with respect, decency and decorum and attempt to persuade them to stay.
This is a point that is lost on President Buhari and those around him. The Avengers are not Boko Haram: taking them on in the field of battle would be a monuemental error.

Unbelievable! This Man Is Still In Court Challenging The Election That Jonathan Won In 2011

Dr Obekpa

The election in question has come and gone. With the President Goodluck Jonathan no more in the saddle of leadership, but D r Adah Obekpa a presidential aspirant of
the African Renaissance Party (ARP) ahead of the
2011 general elections is still in court challeging the outcome of that election.
In fact, Obekpa emerged as the ARP presidential candidate before he was
substituted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). He went to court to challenge the substitution. The case first came up
on April 13, 2011, three days before the 2011 presidential poll, at the Federal High Court sitting in Makurdi and judgement delivered on March 16,
2016. The court ruled against him but he has now lodged an appeal at the Court of Appeal.

Since the 2011 presidential election has come
and gone, why are you still in court?

I have been in court since March 2011. The mere fact that the 2011 presidential election is gone does not mean the effects of the injustice do not
linger. There are fundamental issues in thisclaim, like ensuring Nigerians have the right to vote, that is of utmost importance. This case claims a grand conspiracy by Dr Goodluck Jonathan, the leadership of the 7th National Assembly and INEC to subvert/undermine the Constitution following the action of Jonathan in
assenting to the 2011 Electoral Amendment Billone year before the passage of same bill by the National Assembly.

As such, the 2011 Electoral Amendment Bill is null, void and unconstitutional. Likewise, the 2011 presidential election is null and void. Our nation is on the verge of total collapse, anarchy is loosened upon our land. We need to restore
hope and justice by restoring the Constitution and upholding the fundamental rights of every Nigerian citizen.

Did INEC give any reason for substituting your name with that of Yahaya Ndu in the build-up to 2011 presidential election?

ARP Chairman, Yahaya Ndu, and INEC claimed I was 36years old at the time as reason for the substitution. However, by law, a substitution could only be done via a court order, which INEC never sought.

You alleged there is an attempt on your life both in Nigeria and in the United States. Who do you think is behind it and why are you the subject of
attack?

I believe these attempts on my life were initiated by that powers-that-be in Nigeria, intent on holding unto political power by subverting the
Constitution, depriving millions of Nigerian citizens the right to vote and be voted for, and denying access to courts for reprieve and justice.
This was retribution for my attempt at exposing this crime against our nation and assault on the Constitution, and my refusal to withdraw the
lawsuit.

Are you sure of getting justice now that you have gone to the Court of Appeal?

This lawsuit is not about me- it is about the soulof Nigeria and for future generations to come. It’s about the survival and rebirth of our great nation. Any house built on a false foundation will not stand. Nigeria is almost a failed state. At all
level of government, our political leaders have failed to uphold the Constitution. Law and order is non-existent in the nation and anarchy reign in today’s polity.
This lawsuit is a plea for a constitutional revolution in Nigeria, the restoration of the Constitution and the fundamental rights of every Nigerian citizen.

Goodluck Jonathan is now a former President. Why are you still serving him notice of appeal?

President Goodluck Jonathan, by appending his signature to the 2011 Electoral Amendment Bill one year before the passage of same bill by the
National Assembly, violated his oath to uphold the constitution, undermined public trust,
colluded with the leadership of the National Assembly and INEC to deny millions of Nigerians their constitutional rights. In addition, he undermined.

Comprehensive Details On How Oshiomhole Reconciled With His Deputy Pius Odubu

Odubu and Oshiomhole

THE leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC)in Edo State embarked on marathon reconciliation meetings ahead of the September 10 governorship election in the state throughout last week with Governor Adams Oshiomhole at the helm of affairs. And as it appears, the party is completely united following the decision by the deputy governor of the state, Dr Pius Odubu, and his supporters to sheath their sword and work for the victory of the party. Odubu, popularly known as the Okakuo (Warrior) of the Universe, was understandably unhappy because his boss decided to back the Chairman of Edo State Economic Team and financial guru, Mr Godwin Obaseki, to clinch the APC ticket for the election.

After the primary where Obaseki emerged, the leadership of the party set up a   committee, led by Prince Malik Afegbua and other top leaders of the APC from the three senatorial districts, to make peace with angry members, particularly Odubu, Dr Chris Ogienwonyi and Kenneth Imasuagbon, with a view to having a united house before the party flags off its governorship campaign this weekend. While nine of the governorship aspirants out of the twelve who contested the primary backed Obaseki immediately, Ogienwonyi and Imasuagbon kicked against the result while Odubu decided to remain calm while consulting with his followers.

However, the candidate of the party, Obaseki, made frantic efforts to meet with Odubu twice and the party leader did not fail to express his displeasure about how badly he was allegedly treated with his followers during the build, up to the primary. Obaseki also met with Ogienwonyi but disclosed his difficulties in speaking with Imasuagbon who left the state immediately after the shadow election. But Oshiomhole was particularly worried with the seeming aloofness of his deputy who is equally a foundation member of the APC in the affairs of the party.

There was this anxiety in the APC due to the situation of the deputy governor. There was this belief that if he was not appeased before the election, the victory of the party may be hanging in the balance. Obviously the PDP was watching the situation very keenly, hoping the gulf between Odubu and the APC deepened  so as to capitalize on it to hit the party, particularly in Edo South. The Orhiomwon-born politician is a grassroots man and capable of inflicting devastating blow on the ambition of Obaseki if taken for granted. Oshiomhole, who recognized this fact, went after his deputy with a view to bringing him back on board after Sunday Vanguard learnt that Odubu kept members of the reconciliation committee in the dark as to his next move.

Oshiomhole was said to have approached one of the veteran politicians in Ovia South West, Engr.Evbuonwan, to help bring Odubu to the table for discussion. The meeting between the trio and few other leaders of the party, including the Director General of the Obaseki Campaign Organisation, Osarodion Ogie, held last Sunday. The Sunday meeting culminated in  the Tuesday meeting with select APC leaders across the three senatorial districts present and it was at that occasion that the governor and his deputy addressed journalists together, the first time since after the primary of the party. The peace accord was sealed and it was jubilation inside the hall by APC leaders.

Oshiomhole, who addressed the party leaders, recalled: “The deputy governor and I have worked together for seven and a half years and we have struggled together as candidate, running mate since, 2007. And we have worked together, dined together, socialized together. For some time now it has been in the news that the deputy governor and I have not been in good terms. Watchers of Nigeria politics will agree that Pius and I have had an extremely cordial relationship and I have said, without any prompting that, in my working with Pius, I found him to be absolutely loyal, dedicated and committed.

Nobody was able to infiltrate us and nobody ever came to settle a quarrel between the deputy governor and I in the past seven and a  half years. Some times when we joke, we don’t relate as boss- subordinate but as brothers. But we went through an electoral primary to celebrate internal democracy that distinguishes the APC from the rest. Pius and I fought many battles,  political battles as well as battles to reposition this government and together we can effortlessly point out what our stewardship accomplished for the benefit of the people of Edo. Which I believe necessarily formed the foundation for the electioneering campaign that is about to begin. Having worked so hard and related so closely, there is no question Pius and I in and outside government will remain friends and comrades.

“As part of my own atonement and to demonstrate my commitment to our friendship, some of the people who were affected in the cause of this contestation I have decided to reinstate them to their former positions. I believe that when a leader shows compassion and demonstrate spirit of forgiveness and calls his younger ones, pat them on the back and say ‘return home’, it is not a mark of weakness, it simply shows that we are ever conscious that as humans there are times to make mistakes and times to correct them. So I have taken those steps in the interest of our great party and my honesty of purpose. The primary has come and gone, we all knew that even if all twelve were angels, only one angel was required and, in choosing that one angel, no body requires to give reasons why he preferred one angel to the other and that is simply what has played out in our party”.

Reacting, Odubu described Oshiomhole as his elder brother and urged his followers to forget the past and work for the victory of the party. He said “I am now back home”. While thanking the governor for reinstating his loyalists to their jobs and the N10 million donated to one of his security men who was shot in his eyes when he was attacked in Auchi, Odubu said, “Yesterday belongs to the past and we have decided to put the past behind us. I want to reaffirm my commitment to APC and to each victory at all elections”.

The Tuesday meeting was followed by an enlarged reconciliation meeting of Wednesday, where the governor met with leaders of the APC  across the 18 local government of  Edo and urged them to prepare for the September election  just as he took a jab at  the PDP and its candidate, Ize-Iyamu. The governor said: “Whether  campaign of the PDP for the forthcoming governorship election in Edo is dead on arrival”. He said the APC is the only party that offers hope to Edo people, adding: “Whether you like it or not, the PDP engine is dead on arrival. The early morning signals are clear. For the first time since 1999, a candidate was being presented to the people of Edo  for the most important single job, and the key pillars were there fastened to their chairs and their tables, none of them could stand on their feet to say one word. Has the Oracle not spoken?

“Also, the ‘applicant pastor’ said we have our fathers here and he called the fathers and you know when a child calls more than one father, you know what he is! But if you have three fathers seated next to each other, none of your fathers could stand up, take the microphone and said, ‘yes you are my son; I present you’. Did you observe that? Has papa not already disowned his child? Did papa testify for the child?”. Following the marathon  meetings, Oshiomhole  appears to have been able to secure unity within Edo  APC ahead of the governorship election. And the leadership of the party has anointed the member representing Etsako Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Mr Philip Shuaibu, as Obaseki’s running mate. The youthful  lawmaker is expected to watch the back of his boss politically when they are voted into power.

5 Experiences Only UNIBEN Students Can Identify With, No 3 Is So Hilarious

Uniben logo

Before i delve into the subject matter, it would be apt to succinctly explain the making and the historical antecedents of this great institution of  higher learning, albeit brief.
The University of Benin with two campuses comprising of Ekenwan and of course the Ugbowo, the main campus. It was established as an institution of technology in 1970, but later accorded the status of a full-fledged university by National University Commission (NUC) on  1st of July 1971, if my memory serves me right.

That said, before i get accused of beating  around the bush and not going straight to the point, let's quickly set the ball rolling by listing the experiences.
Readers can agree with me on some, while some will disagree saying these are experiences not akin to Students of University of Benin.

1. Hall 4 Boys and Beans

Hall 4 is one of the halls of residence for boys popularly known as Abuja. Residents and visitors alike of this Hall would testify to this. The boys seem to prefer beans than any other class of food, hence at a point the girls started referring to them as simply beans. The first and only aroma a first time visitor to Hall 4 would always perceives is beans and nothing else. They even put their beans on fire and go to class hoping to return after an hour
 or so.

2. Night class and Preachers

Yes! Night classes in University of Benin are very popular among students particularly the
nocturnal group of students. What is however, baffling is that night classes that ordinarily, should be meant for reading and other scholarly activities, get taken over by "born again Christians" with deluge of sermon from one bible quotation or the other. I recall vividly how two of my roommates complained consistently about the nuisance nature of these preachers. One famously tagged them "The kill Joys"

3. Hall 3 Boys and arrow/banter

I learnt this was how the famous comedian, Bright Okwocha, aka Basket mouth cut his comedy teeth. If you are a Resident of Hall 3, you have to be blessed  with the gift off the garb or else relocates else where. The boys in this hall do not know joy at all when they are in their element, particularly sparring against girls residing in Hall 2, also know as Madam Tinubu hall. Their rivalry was  so intense that some girls stopped visiting Hall 3.

4. Hall 2 Girls and shotput

This is not to denigrate my alma mater, University of Benin possesses state of the art facilities including a befitting toilets. But the million dollar question is, why do girls, or better still, why do Hall 3 girls prefer shotput? Form those who don't know what shotput is, it is a situation where someone excrete into a nylon bag and fling it like the infamous Olympic shotput athlete, C.J Hunter.
They don't care if it lands on someone's head or in Mama Ngozi's pot of Egusi soup. It became so rampant and bad  that areas within the Hall became more of a stench. It was that bad!

5. Boys bathing outside even during visiting hours

Bathing outside is not quite unusual per say, indulging in it during visiting hours  particularly when ladies are still roaming the vicinity is so not cool. In Hall 4 where I can speak authoritatively especially after it was my only hostel through out my stay on campus. There was one particular incident when I was seeing off a female visitor only for the poor girl to see "Adam" bathing with his machine glaring like an LCD TV. The guy in question was even happy to flaunt his arsenal for the global village.

Lest I forget, the University of Benin is famously referred to as UniBest. Just saying, no haters please.
