Basket Mouth Didn't Get Me Fired - Popular OAP, Freeze

Freeze

Popular  Nigerian On- air personality (OAP), , Daddy Freeze has further commented on the alleged rift between him and ace Nigerian comedian which according to media reports got him fired.
The rift between Freeze and Basket mouth started with an indirect jabs on Instagram will end soon. There is no love lost between OAP Freeze and Basketmouth the comedian, as virtually everybody knows that the two don’t see eye to eye.
In a telephone chat with Saturday Beats recently
over the latest news, Freeze said, “Can Basketmouth get you fired from your job?” He claimed the issues he had with his former
employees had nothing to do with Basketmouth. “When you work in a corporate organisation, it is not everything that goes on there that you can make a story out of. Legally, I am not allowed to comment on such a matter because I have a non-disclosure agreement with my organisation. I cannot even comment because I tried to sit down with lawyers to know what to say but they advised me to tell anyone who asked that I
cannot comment but what I can say is that CoolFM is my family and that is where I have worked for over 15 years.
“Sometimes we disagree and what we disagree on are matters that the world does not know about. They are professional and work related matters. It has nothing to do with a comedian or
social media. “It was the humour of my weekend when the
story broke. I was shocked that people actually believed the story and I had fun with it. I chose not to answer; what I chose to do is when I resume work and people see me, they would
deduce whatever it is they want to deduce.
Legally as a person, I could be sued for making a comment on that,” Freeze said. He told Saturday Beats he would not want to
comment much on his relationship with the comedian because the issue had dragged for too long. He added his refusal to talk about the comedian didn’t mean he was afraid of Basketmouth.
“I have gone through so much with Basketmouth and I have decided that personally, I will not comment about him because anything I say would be taken to his camp and it would be
interpreted in any way they want to interpret it.
They would respond, then I would have to respond again and we would drag the issue for a while again.
“We have been on this matter for too long and from my own side, I want to rest it, not because of the fact that I am afraid of anything but because I think it has been on for too long. The
only thing I will talk about is that CoolFM is a corporate entity and a comedian’s feeling or emotions about me is our personal issue. It has nothing to do with the corporate world. I am at
CoolFM on a contract and my position cannot be affected by a social media comment or post.
Everyone in the office was shocked when they read some of the reports online. “It made me to wonder how people would believe
what they read on social media platforms. It was stated on a blog as a fact that I was sacked. I threatened to sue them and my lawyers are waiting but some people begged me that it was
not necessary to create bad blood. There was no iota of truth in their news and they spread it as a fact. Such reports could affect my future especially if I wanted to work in another place,
they would claim that I was sacked because of the things that were posted on some blogs,” he said.

How My Husband Stripped Me Naked, Beat Me To Pulp, Wife Testifies

A trader, Margaret Agwu, on Wednesday told an Igando Customary Court, Lagos, that her husband, Onu, sometimes strip her naked and beat her to pulp. Margret, who made this known when she testified in a divorce proceedings against Onu, told the court that her husband had turned her into a punching bag.

“He once punched me in my stomach and I lost my first pregnancy after a fight. I have lived every minute of my life in fear but I cannot go back to my parents because of the
bride price,” she said. Margaret, 45, had urged the court to annul
her 33-year-old marriage citing husband’s duplicity.

“When I was 12 years old, my husband came to my village to ask for my hand in marriage with a promise to my parents that he would send me to school.

“He also lied to my parents that he is a businessman that he owned a provision store and that he lived in a flat.
“My parents told him that they cannot release me for marriage because I was too young and besides I was still schooling.
“Onu told my parents that he will send me to school after the marriage, my parent agreed and he paid the bride price,” she said.

Margaret said on getting to the city, she discovered that her husband was not what he made her and her parents believe he
was. “When I got to his house, I discovered that he was staying in one-room apartment, selling popcorn at the roadside.
“He also refused to fulfil his promise of sending me to school,” she said.

The petitioner said that she would not have reminded herself of the husband’s deceit but because he had turned out to be a brute,
who beats her at the slightest provocation. Margret also accused her husband of absconding with all their five children 16
years ago. “When I called him after he packed out, he
just told me that he was no longer interested in the marriage and since then he refused tonpick my calls.
“His relations told me he relocated with the children to Port Harcourt. It is 16 years now that I have not seen nor heard from them. “I heard that my husband gave our first daughter’s hand in marriage without my knowledge and that she had given birth to a son,” she said.

Margaret urged the court to help her to return the N600 bride price paid by her husband and dissolve the marriage, saying
“I am no longer in love and I want to move on with my life.”
When an official of the court called Onu on telephone, he said that the petitioner was no longer his wife. In his judgment, the President of the court, Adegboyega Omilola, said that it was obvious that the marriage had hit the rocks.
“Throughout the duration of this case, the respondent refused to honour court summons, therefore, the court has no other choice than to dissolve the union.
“The marriage between Margaret Agwu and Onu Agwu is hereby dissolved from today, both parties are no longer husband and wife. “Both are free to go their separate ways without any hindrances and molestation,” he said.

How PDP Candidate Ize-Iyamu Was Rusticated For Bathing Student With Acid-Oshiomhole

Ize-Iyamu and Oshiomhole

REVELATIONS have started to emerge how the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate, Osagie Ize- Iyamu was allegedly rusticated afetr bathing a fellow student with acid whilst studing at the University of Benin.

This damnong revelation was made known  by the Edo state governor, Adams Oshiomhole, who says contrary to the claims of the PDP Governorship Candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu that he has never been indicted for any crime, that the PDP candidate was allegedly rusticated by a panel led by Prof. Itse Sagay for two years after he allegedly bathed a fellow student with acid at the University of Benin, UNIBEN.

It would be recalled that Ize-Iyamu in an online interview said he was rusticated for being a member of the Pirate confraternity at the University of Benin then and not because he
bathed some body with acid.

However, Oshiomhole who spoke at the mega rally of the APC, to round up the governorship campaign of the APC Candidate, Mr Godwin Obaseki, said: “Ize-Iyamu said he has never been
indicted in his life. And that he made his first millions when he was 31. Now I challenge him, as a student in UNIBEN, he was rusticated for two years because he poured somebody acid and
today the person was paralysed. It was one of the President’s Advisers today, Prof.Itsey Sagay that chaired the committee that rusticated Ize-Iyamu.
On the issue of Bendel Brewery, Oshiomhole narrated: “We have not been able to reopen Bendel Brewery because of the huge debt the PDP left in that place. I heard Ize-Iyamu saying that they were collecting N25million monthly from Bendel Brewery but now as the custodian of the treasure of Edo state, I can tell you those monies went into private pockets. And by the
time they left, Bendel Breweries was owing N2billion, which they borrowed and the company was closed.

MAN CITY VS MAN UTD: 'Guardiola A Spineless Coward'- Ibrahimovic

Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Swedish striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has labelled his erstwhile boss as a spinless coward, saying the Spaniard is just the opposite of his current manager, Jose Mourinho.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Pep Guardiola come together on Saturday in the Manchester derby six years on from an acrimonious 12 months as an unbalanced pairing at Barcelona and their relationship has never healed.

The enigmatic striker, now of Manchester United, sees his former manager as a ‘spineless coward’ — the opposite of now-boss Jose Mourinho. At Old Trafford this weekend both will be desperate
to get one over on Guardiola and City.

‘If Mourinho brightens up the room, Guardiola pulls down the curtains,’ Ibrahimovic wrote in his 2013 autobiography I Am Zlatan. The Spaniard has kept quieter on the subject of his former £40million centre forward but the way City’s interest in Ibrahimovic that peaked in 2010 has evaporated was enough recognition of the feud between the pair.

This weekend’s Manchester derby sees that bad blood resurface for the seventh time since the separation that was effectively sealed by a
Champions League semi-final exit at the hands of Mourinho’s Inter Milan. ‘I yelled: “You haven’t got any balls!” and worse
than that I added: “You can go to hell!”, Ibrahimovic recalls.
‘I completely lost it, and you might have expected Guardiola to say a few words in response, but he’s a spineless coward. He just picked up the metal box, like a little caretaker, and then left,
never to mention it again, not a word.’
It was a night of arguably the greatest of Mourinho’s victories over Guardiola and one that sealed Ibrahimovic’s thinking that Pep was not the man for him. His boss already held a similar view.
When Barcelona spent £40m plus the exchange of Samuel Eto’o to take Ibrahimovic from Inter in 2009, the egos of manager and player collided. Guardiola was looking to replace the outspoken
Eto’o and somehow thought the right idea was to approach Ibrahimovic — rarely one to mince his words. Former AC Milan tactician Arrigo Sacchi warned the manager ahead of time that it was the wrong move but he did not listen.

Antonio Conte Explains Mikel's Role In Chelsea, Says He....

Mikel Obi

Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte is already mulling over his next permiership formation following the end of the international break as Mikel Obi ,who is presently Chelsea’s second longest serving player in the squad has been juggling with two different roles.
He plays as a defensive midfielder for Chelsea but plays in a more advanced role for Nigeria. We gathered Conte has decided to hand him same role as he plays in the Nigeria national team as part of the sweetener, he wants to use in luring the 29 year old to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge.
Conte signed N’Golo Kante for the role Mikel has been alternating with Nemanja Matic, raising doubts about the chances of the Nigerian getting to play games for the team this season, but we gathered that talks were held during the week, where Mikel was promised a role same as the one he plays for the Nigeria national team.
“Mikel and Conte had a chat about his role in the team, although he has been assured he will be played in the role that suits him the more by the manager. He is also ready to fill in anywhere he is needed for the team”, a source close to the player said.

'I Stole 8 Phones Daily' Notorious Pickpocket Nabbed In Lagos [Photo]

Seen Jimoh

A notorious pick-pocket kingpin who specializes in robbing unsuspecting victims at the popular Oshodi area of Lagos state, has finally been arrested by the operatives of the Rapid Response
Squad.

The gallant operatives of the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad (RRS) has arrested an 18-year- old suspect identified as Seun Jimoh, who ran away from auto engineering to pickpocketing on early hours on Tuesday, in Oshodi while in the act.
The suspect, who decked in brown jacket and trousers, and a hand bag like a business executive, before his arrest, had already stolen four mobile phones from unsuspecting commuters in an early morning rush in the area, and was about to remove N18,000 from the pocket of a commuter during another bus stampede when he was caught.

According to a report, unknowingly to him, two of his victims were on the lookout for him after suspecting him for being in custody of their missing phones. While standing at Oshodi under
Bridge, they spotted him removing money from the pocket of a passenger, Gbenga Odeniyi.
At that point, his earlier victims, Onuh Austine and Onesimus Paul raised an alarm, which made Jimoh to promptly drop the money and take to his heels but RRS operatives close to the scene
chased and caught him.
The operatives after listening to all the accusations, requested the victims’ phone numbers which were dialled and they were found in Jimoh’s handbag.
The suspect later confessed at the RRS's Headquarters, saying that he stole the two phones during a bus stampede.
"On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, I am always in Oshodi pickpocketing. I stole an average of eight phones on Mondays and maybe like nine phones on Fridays. I don’t really get
more than five phones on Wednesdays.
"I'm an orphan. I was brought to Lagos by my uncle. He enlisted me in an auto mobile workshop but I ran away from there to Mushin where I honed my skills in pickpocketing. All the
phones that I stole, I sell them in Alaba Rago to some Hausas. They buy fairly used phones and materials from people. I have been in this business since 2013. I have never been caught
or imprisoned before.
"Nobody needs to train you on how to pickpocket. It is so easy and the idea came naturally to me. You can do it but you do the
easy ones. I get to Oshodi by 6:30 a.m. and I leave after operations around 9:00 a.m. I sell Nokia Microsoft N7,000; Infinix Hot N8,000; Tecno Y series, N7,000 – N9,000 and small Samsung phones N4,000," he confessed.
Confirming the arrest, the State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Superintendent of Police, SP Dolapo Badmus, re-assured people of Lagos, of maximum security in place in the state.

MUST READ! How UK Based Nigerian Student Used Her N5m School Fees To Sow Seed Of Faith

A United Kingdom based Nigerian university student has done the unthinkable after allegedly using her school fees to sow a seed of faith.

This will sound bizzare to say the least. A girl has revealed how a Nigerian student used her school fees money totallying £13,000 (N5m) to sow seed of faith.

The incident left her family totally bitter and her mother "almost went back to the church to ask for the money back but family members kicked against it." and the girl was made to work for
part of that fees in the UK.
The girl who revealed the details blasted church pastors who feed on money given by their innocent church members who continue to languish in poverty while they continue to show off their luxury on social media.

"Use church members money to build Universities but a widow that casted her mite can't afford to send her kids there. I cast
different fam." she added. This comes just a few days after Popular Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA),
Biodun Fatoyinbo showed off his Gucci Web Animalia GG Supreme Tote bag worth nearly N1 million.

The Copa America defeat was particularly tough for Messi to take - and his brief retirement was seemingly due to his own sense of feeling like he'd failed.
