I Will Accept Criticism From Manchester United Legends- Jose Mourinho

Manchester Untied Manager, Jose Mourinho says criticisms from ex-Manchester United legends are welcome. 

Many of United  legends are known to be staunch critics of the club previous two managers, one time Toffee Boss, David Moyes and Dutchman, Louis Van Gaal.

The likes of Paul Scholes, Roy Keane, Rio Ferdinand and Gary Neville are among the more vocal critics since the end of Sir Alex Ferguson's era at Old Trafford. 

However, the former Chelsea Tactician recognises that the opinions of such prominent United figures can impact the mood at Old Trafford.

However, the Portuguese says the former stars have earned the right to air their views and are welcome at the club's Carrington training ground any time they like to discuss the team if they have grievances.

"At this club you find legends from five years ago, legends of 10 years ago, legends of 15 years ago and legends of 20 years ago," the United boss told the Sunday Times. 

"Their voice becomes very powerful. That is something you have to understand. When people belong to the club history, they are different to a normal pundit. You have to look at them in a different way. You have to be respectful with these guys.

"They are so powerful in the fans' world that they can influence positively or negatively. The fans love them, so when they are positive they can unite and when they are negative they can create a more difficult situation.

"They are working and have to try to be honest and independent. So, myself, as Manchester United manager cannot tell them, 'you belong to our history, you are here to help'. 

"You have to accept that if they are happy with the team they can elevate the support, but if they are not happy maybe they can disturb and make things more difficult.


"I would say to them, 'you are welcome at the training ground.' Any time you want to give an opinion, welcome, it is your house, it is your home and you can be back when you want.

THE Department of State Services ( DSS) has
arrested one Jones Abari, aka Gen. Akotebe
Darikoro, for the alleged mastermind of a hoaxed
plan to overthrow President Muhammad Buhari
by the military. A statement issued by an official
of the service, Mr Tony Opuiyo in Abuja on
Saturday said Abari was arrested in Yenagoa on
July 21.
Opuiyo described the suspect as the leader of the
Joint Revolutionary Council of the Joint Niger
Delta Liberation Force ( JNDLF). He said that
Abari had confessed to other criminal activities
which included a threat to launch missile attacks
on selected targets in Abuja and Aso Rock.
Others include writing threat messages to the
management of the Nigeria Agip Oil Company
(NAOC) and the Shell Petroleum Development
Company (SPDC) demanding for N500 million
and N250 million respectively. He said that the
suspect also masterminded the vandalism of
NAOC trunk line in Ogboinbiri, Southern Ijaw and
bombing of SPDC oil pipeline.
In another development, the DSS said it had
arrested a suspected terrorist, Bulama Ramat, at
the Jabi Motor Park, FCT on July 21. He said that
prior to his arrest, Ramat was planning to attack
the Federal Capital Territory and its environs in
collaboration with other elements of an extremist
cell of the Boko Haram group.
Opuiyo said that the service also made other
arrests within the month of July in Enugu, Ondo,
Jos, Kaduna, Yenagoa, Port Harcourt and Kano
states. The service urged all citizens and
residents to remain vigilant and report all
suspicious persons, parcels or vehicles to the
nearest security formation. "Members of the
public are further called upon to see our societal
and individual safety as our collective
responsibility," he said.
He advised the public to support security and law
enforcement agencies with critical information
that would assist in providing a safe environment

How Pastor Chained 9 Year -Old Son For One Month For Stealing

Wonders they say shall never end, a popular saying is best used to describe this anomly that happened in Ado-odo area of Ogun state.
As Men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence
Corps (NSCDC), Ogun State Command have
rescued a nine-year-old boy, Korede Taiwo,
at Ajibawo village in Atan-Ota, Ado-Odo
Ota local government area of the state.

According to Vanguard,  the boy was accused of
stealing meat from their cooking pot by his
step mother identified as Kehinde.
The step mother was said reported the case
of alleged stealing to the father, a pastor,
who reportedly tied the boy’s hands and
legs with chains.
Confirming the incident, the Public
Relations Officer of the NSCDC, Olanrewaju
Kareem, in a statement, said the boy was in
chains until a neighbor informed officials
on surveillance patrol of critical
infrastructure in the area who rescued the
boy.
Kareem further disclosed that the boy had
been chained for one month at the Celestial
Church of Christ (Key of Joy Parish) .
The boy after he was rescued, according to
him, was tired and pale and was not able
to talk.
“ On getting to the church, there was serious
resistance by members, led by the pastor’s
wife, Kehinde, but men of Civil Defence
Corps insisted, and were able to force
their way into the premises and found that
the boy was actually in chains”, the PRO
added.
“They quickly took him to the office for
necessary entries and documentation and
proceeded to the General Hospital, Ota.
“The boy was bathed and one Dr.
Akintunde at the hospital asked NSCDC
officials who took him there to cut the chains
to enable them administer treatment on him.
“Before our men left the hospital, he had
been responding to treatment as he had
started talking. However, the Hospital
Medical Director one Dr. Osinbajo who came
later assured the Corps that the boy will get
necessary medical attention. “The step
mother and the chain with padlock have
been handed over to the police”. Meanwhile,
Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer,
Muyiwa Adejobi, in a statement, said the
Assistant Inspector General of Police in
charge of Zone 2 Command, Lagos, AIG
Abdulmajid Ali,has condemned the pastor’s
alleged action, saying the matter will be
properly handled and the fleeing pastor
apprehended.
“He has ordered that the young
boy,Korede,be given proper medical
attention,”the AIG said.

UK Prime Minister, David Cameron Packing out of Downing Street

Just days ago, British Prime Minister David Cameron was the most powerful man in the whole of the United Kingdoms and by extension one of the most influential around the world.

He has enjoyed the razzmatazz that is akin to the office and had all the paraphernalia and perks of office, though the office of the Prime Minister is not as fantastically corrupt with riches and entitlement, if you know what I mean.
But this picture depicts a man and a Nation that is still traditionally conservative and not riddled with the entitlement syndrome as is the case with my beloved country Nigeria. 
An outgoing Prime Minister carrying his boxes himself without hangers-on, praise singers and sycophants falling over themselves to show one form of eye service or the other.
Of course many would say, what do you expect, he has lost power and he is no more the Prime Minister. But in fact that is not the case.
If you are a keen follower of British politics, you would agree with me that what you see is what you get. There is no faking it down there! You either have it or you don't.
The same Prime Minister usually carry his bags himself, sometimes rides bicycle to the office, travels with British Airways and not the plethora of private jets as is the case with my dear country Nigeria. Let me put it succinctly in local parlance, they no dey carry power or office for head!
That is why I enjoy and reports extensively on British and American politics. I am just too fascinated about their style of governance.
