Ex- Super Eagles utility player Garba Lawai has written off the performance of Super Eagles boss Gernot Rohr, saying he is just being lucky with his results.
Despite recording a 100 per cent since he took over the reins as handler of the Super Eagles, the player popular called Chindo and NFF Technical Committee member, Garba Lawal has underplayed Gernot Rohr’s competence on the job, saying that the results came by luck.

Massive Protest Hits National Assembly Complex [See Details]

Scores of protesters led by popular Nigerian entertainer, Charles Oputa aslo known as Charley Boy, have blocked the main gate of the country's lawmaking institution, the National Assembly, Abuja.
According to a report by Premium Times, the protesters, erected five tents in front of the Assembly’s gate and stationed a van, preventing movement to and from the Assembly complex. Their demands include the death penalty as punishment for stealing public funds; a slash of salaries of political office holders by 70%; a stop of state/local government joint account; and public disclosure of details of National Assembly’s multi-billion naira budget.
The protesters – members of the “Occupy Unlimited,” described as a civil society group that advocates good governance and corruption free society – also want the National Assembly to review the constitution towards amending the clause that grants immunity to the president, vice-president, governors and the deputy- governors.
They want the law amended so the officials can be tried for criminal matters while in office. They also want a unicameral legislature, asking that the Senate be scrapped.

Though the 2019 General elections are still more than 2 years away, but however far away it might seems, Nigerian politicians are the types not to be caught off-guard.
According to photos posted on Twitter by Lere Olayinka, the Special Assistant to Ekiti State Governor on Public Communications and New Media, former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, was seen exchanging pleasantries with Governor Ayo Fayose, and Governor Rauf Aregbesola, of Osun state, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Wednesday.
Outspoken PDP chieftain, Fayose and APC politician, Aregbesola, have been seen together publicly in recent times, but the meeting with the former vice president should not be taken lightly.
It might just be steps to herald the dreams and aspirations of Poli icians towards 2019.
