Alex Iwobi Goes Lyrical On Arsenal's Champions League Prospect
Super Eagles youth prodigy Alex Iwobi has gone on to state that the Gunners are confident of finishing ahead of Paris-Saint Germain in their Champions League group. Arsenal have enjoyed a strong start to their European campaign so far and the Premier League giants claimed an impressive 6-0 victory over Ludogorets Razgrad on Wednesday night, lifting them to top spot in Group A.
The Super Eagles forward told talkSPORT : "We are confident. We did well at their place and we believe, at our home ground with our fans on our side, we can probably get the win and finish first.
"It's definitely the biggest win I've played in. We were professional from the first whistle to the last whistle, and we played very well, which the result shows. "In the first half we did well, but in the second half when we came out again and got the third goal, it kind of put them off. It made it easier for us to express ourselves, and there was less pressure on us when we played and it showed."
