Why Is Lebron James Frustrated At Cleveland Cavaliers?
Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James' tone about the season changed after Monday's 124-122 defeat to the New Orleans Pelicans.
Before the game, James said he was not worried about his team's recent struggles, but, after the Cavs' fifth loss in seven games, he was extremely vocal about their problems.
The forward is averaging a league-high 37.5 minutes per game, with Kyrie Irving (35.1) not too far behind, and he is growing extremely frustrated about their lack of depth.
"It's been a s***** 2017 so far," said James via ESPN
"It's like when you don't have bodies, it's tough. The f****** grind of the regular season. We're a top-heavy team. We top-heavy as s***.
"We need a f****** playmaker. I'm not saying you can just go find one, like you can go outside and see trees. I didn't say that."
On losing to the San Antonio Spurs last weekend despite them being without Tony Parker and Pau Gasol, James said: "[The Spurs have] bodies. For the most part, all championship-contending teams has got guys that are ready to step in.
"Knock on wood, what if Ky [Irving] goes down? For two weeks. Let's say two. What if I went down for three weeks?"
