Atiku To Bid For 2019 Presidency As Posters Flood Kebbi

With two years to the 2019 general elections, posters of former Vice-President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, as a presidential candidate are already circulating with his posters flooding Kebbi State.


Atiku, was in Kebbi state at the weekend for a book lunch – Abdulahi Fodio and Merit Award of his domain since 1805, held at the palace of Emir of Gwandu in Birnin Kebbi. The shout of “Say Atiku Turaki Adamawa for President 2019,” was said to rent the air as his political supporters and followers stormed the venue of the launching, campaigning for him ahead of the next general elections.

It was gathered that Atiku arrived at the Ahmadu Bello International Airport on Saturday around 7am with his supporters, who were circulating his posters.

The ex- Vice President and top politician with the ruling All Progressive Congress APC  was the chief launcher of the book donated N10 million, even as the Chairman of Dangote Groups, Aliyu Dangote described the book lunch as historical book which identified the quality of good leaders. At the event were the former governor, Muritala Nyanko, Muazu Babangida Aliyu and Aliyu Wamako, as well as former Speaker of Kano State House of Assembly; members of the National Assembly; Senate President and traditional rulers.
