Ex- Minister Of Education Dies At 79, Buried
A former Minister of State for Education, Alhaji Saka Sa’adu, who died and has been buried according to Islamic rites.
The ex-minister died at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Kwara State at the age of 79, according to his son, Abdulkadir.
Sa’adu was also a former Secretary to the Kwara State Government.
Abdulkadir, who confirmed the death of his father during an interview with our correspondent in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, stated that the ex-minister died of natural cause.
Abdulkadir said, “My father died this morning (Monday). He died of natural cause. He was aged 79. He is from Okekere in Ilorin. He was a co-author of a book, ‘Nigeria Secondary School Science Project,’ published in 1971. He was an alumnus of the University of Ibadan.”
A statement by the spokesman for the Sa’adu family of Aseleke compound, Okekere, Ilorin , Alhaji Bolaji Sa’adu, also confirmed the demise of the ex-minister.
